My Bio

Neil Simpson is the founder of Innovelocity, a Business Process Management (BPM) consultancy and Intalio VAR based in Berkeley, California. Innovelocity is helping Healthcare and Manufacturing clients to address strategic business needs - such as serving new markets, improving quality and customer service, achieving compliance or reducing operational costs - by applying innovative tools & techniques to plan, analyze, design, automate and monitor key business processes throughout the value chain.

Neil has a 12 year track record successfully delivering strategic business process and change management projects across a broad spectrum of diverse customers - as a technologist/developer, analyst and project manager. He possesses deep "hands-on" experience in quality, compliance, supply chain management, business process modeling, business process management systems (BPMS) and workflow automation.

Prior to founding Innovelocity, Neil co-developed an innovative BPM and Knowledge Management solution as an employee at Intel Corp. It was recognized as a "best practice", and he traveled the world to proliferate it to 14,000 people in 36 business units and suppliers. Neil has also held leadership positions at Blue Shield of California, a premier California health insurer, driving significant compliance and system change initiatives while enhancing enterprise toolsets and capabilities.
